  • Smoke Bombs and Paint Grenades
Smoke bombs and paint grenades are permitted.  Must be tossed but must not  thrown directly at a player or used as a projectile.  Good for stopping vehicles.
  • Costumes & Attire
Costumes, Ghillie Suits, and Scenario Attire are HIGHLY encouraged. However, such attire must not prevent the proper use of safety equipment like Goggle Systems.

  • Auto-Fire Settings
All adjustable electronic or mechanical paintball guns must be set on semi-auto.  The fully auto setting is not permitted.  Fully auto guns that cannot be adjusted to shoot semi-auto may not be used.

Tank/Vehicle Operation and Engagement
Tanks and vehicles may travel no faster than walking speed and must be accompanied by ref. NEW - Tanks will be restricted to a defined roadway.

Keep your distance - tanks or other vehicles may not engage people at less than 15' nor may they block doorways to buildings. Team players within 10 feet of a tank get one warning, and then are called "out" and must leave the field until the next insertion time.

An anti-tank gun (Nerf football fired by air cannon) will disable a vehicle for 5 minutes.Paint grenades also may be used to eliminate tanks.

When the vehicle is eliminated, it is inactive.  Operating crews remain inactive while the vehicle is eliminated. The referee will time each period of inactivity, and afterwards give an OK to the crew on when to reactivate the vehicle.  The crews may not shoot during this period.  Exception - if the cargo truck is disabled, then while the operating crew in the cab becomes inactive, passengers in the rear cargo hold are still live players and may escape (or remain to defend).

There is no shooting into the gun ports of a tank. No player will be allowed to approach a vehicle, stick his marker barrel into the tank and shoot the players in the tank. For the safety of the crew, players will be asked to maintain the 10 foot minimum distance regardless of whether the vehicle is active or eliminated.

(Special acknowledgement is in order to the Bionic Possums for the mid-south's first-ever scenario tank).

Flag Stations
Scoring is often awarded for capture of a flag station.  Capture of a flag, however, does not mean retrieving the flag, as the phrase might imply.  Rather, hoist the flag on the pole, leave it there, and guard the location until the end of the game, when the points will be awarded.

Restricted Items
Please do not smoke on the playing field. Paintballs purchased offsite may not be brought into the game.  Vehicles may not be driven on the playing field without prior consent. Pyrotechnics (other than standard smoke bombs and paint grenades) may not be used.
Anything that launches a projectile of any kind other than a paintball must be submitted for approval prior to the game.
