Hoffman did all these things and more to Marcus, yet never had Marcus hared the sound of Hoffman's voice more than when he radioed to say the resonator didn't work. The blast wasn't powerful enough to map even a fraction of the Locust's tunnel network - the crew would need to find another way, and Baird thinks he has the solution. He hacked into a geobot and found an immense amount of data concerning the Locust tunnels. Anya has traced the data back to the residence of Adam Fenix, Marcus' deceased father. The irony in Hoffman sending Marcus there to look for additional data isn't lost on the members of Delta Squad.

The Cowboy Gang never shys away from a fight, so they answered the threat from Earp by splitting their leadership into several groups and using the groups to spring multiple traps on the Vengeance Posse. The Cowboy Gang ambushes were very effective, but Earp seemed to be a man possessed and was able to fight his way through each trap and lead his fellow lawdogs to safety. The Cowboy Gang is now on the run, trying desperately to reunite and protect Curly Bill, Johnny Ringo, & Ike Clanton from Wyatt Earp's wrath…
